    Cons

Underpaid. Favoritism. About 70% of the building is on drugs since its known they don't drug test. Promotes people to ICA that knows nothing.

I worked at PayPal full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits package, decent starting wage

    Cons

Paypal is a great place to work if you want to be stuck in single position for years with little wage increase. Change happens very quickly at PayPal, although not in a good way. You are constantly shoveled from team to team (within same department of course) and have a new team leader every 3-4 months, which you have to explain your career goals to every time and right when you think you're going to get somewhere BAM. New team. New boss. No actual advancement. The initial training received was completely inadequate. When you actually start your job you are incredibly overwhelmed. Also, the attendance policy changes are impossible. Flawed incentive system makes it very difficult to get a sizeable bonus or any bonus at all. The internal talent search is a joke.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees, be honest and clear about timeframes, pass down information in a timely manner, be consistent with information delivered, get trainers who have actually performed the job they're training others to do

    Pros

    Location is perfect for travel.

    Cons

Polices are not realistic and it is not a clam work environment.

    Advice to Management

Acknowledge workers and change attendance polices.

I worked at PayPal full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The food is good. Most people are pretty friendly and easy to get along with. Young energetic culture. Inclusive culture.

    Cons

Food is not subsidized. Work is put in silos so it makes it hard to get things done. Lots of change post separation from ebay which can be viewed as good or bad. Difficult to maintain work life balance. Takes to long to get decisions made.

    Advice to Management

To much change to quickly is disruptive and confusing. I think the company will do well but at the expense of losing some good talent for little monetary gain combining positions.

    Pros

Great environment. Fair pay and compensation. They understand taking calls all day is draining and do what they can to keep you motivated

    Cons

I'm not a fan of the interview process. Giving specific examples of how you handled a situation is not ideal for me.

    Pros

Work life balance (depends on team)
    Good pay (competitive in industry)
    Opportunities to move around internally
    Growing space of payments

    Cons

Chaotic at times with constantly changing priorities
Vacation plan (unlimited but restricted to 3 weeks a year in practice)
    Blame games / politics
Not yet technology focused company (product / business driven)

    Advice to Management

Genuine focus on technology/quality will help compete better with upcoming technology driven players in payments industry.
