    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Learned a lot and grew through out my time there. Helped me branch outward to better opportunities. The company Itself isn’t a bad company.

    Cons

Management picks favorites, certain employees are given special treatment simply because they are “buddy buddy” with the boss. Lower pay than other companies with similar positions. There is always someone watching your every move, whether it be your supervisor, manager, or coworkers. Coworkers will say anything about you to the supervisor to make them selves look better and get themselves ahead of you.

    Advice to Management

Stop worrying about who is friendly to your face and focus on who actually is getting their daily workload done efficient and accurately.

Good benefits, room for advance, and great training .

    Cons

Horrible management, huge turn over, overwhelming work load, and low pay.

Take better care of those that keep your business running. A little bit of appreciation goes a long way. Pay your payroll specialist their worth.

    I worked at Paychex full-time

    Pros

You get to meet some really great people who are hard workers, adept at their role, and desire to be successful.

    Cons

You are told through training you are becoming part of the Paychex family where people bleed Paychex blue. That is true, for about 3% of the people I encountered and most work in a constant state of fear and strife. Departments are vetted against each other where management is somewhat aware, but when confronted were more concerned with staring at a spreadsheet trying to find a decimal. When I worked there, I was the most tenured on my team after a little over a year, and that was not because everyone was promoted.

    Advice to Management

Look at the culture and do everything you can to fix it, which can't be done staring at a spreadsheet.
