Pros
This companies culture is second to none. They honestly care about their employees and is the best company I have ever worked for! The handled the transition to work from home during the pandemic flawlessly and have taken care of their employees in every way. Career growth is there, compensation is also great. I have referred multiple people to the company as well and everyone is very pleased.
Cons
I don't have any cons at the moment.

Pros
This company is amazing and goes above and beyond to keep the culture positive and up beat! I’m a remote employee and I feel more connected to my team, leadership, and direction of the organization then I did when I worked in the office. We use our own technology for everything and have open communication inside it to see what it going on. Would highly recommend Paylocity to anyone looking for a new job!
Cons
The first 18 months of the HCM Account Executive role are challenging. You will be given a list of zip codes and account that will likely need to be updated. 90% of your business will come from prospecting in your first year. You will also be creating new partnerships in your territory which will eventually give you a network for referrals. These are the 2 key ways you will see success in this role. Base Pay is not the best. But when you hit the higher commission levels you can make a ton of money!

Pros
I joined Paylocity in 2022 and am super happy with my decision. I joined the company from a large Enterprise Cloud based HR Tech company. Paylocity has been one of the best companies I have worked at in the last two decades of my career. The leadership team is incredibly positive and supportive and is continuously seeking feedback on how to improve the company. I would divide my review and company interaction in the following three groups: • Interview process: From the initial contact to the final offer, the process was seamless and well-organized. Brie was an amazing recruiter, and she provided an extraordinary experience in my interview and offer process. She has been one of the best recruiters I have worked in my career. She kept me updated on every stage of recruitment process, got the interviews scheduled promptly and closed the offer in a very timely fashion. She was an extremely pleasant personality to work with. • New hire experience: New hire orientation was conducted in the remote setting – it provided a good overview of the company. Our co-CEO Steve came to meet with us at the orientation and answered questions everyone had. I thought that was super cool, as you don’t often see CEOs of large companies interacting with the new hires. He was very transparent and genuine. • Experience as an employee: So far, I have an extremely positive impression of the company. Leaders, colleagues and team members are all driven, motivated and genuinely interested in making an impact in the area of HR Technology. Company is moving at a fast speed and is bound to build industry leading products. If you really want to make an impact by building the HR and Payroll products everyone loves, want to be challenged and grow in your career, Paylocity will be a great option for you to choose.
Cons
None I can think of, as of now.

Pros
Leadership is very transparent and keeps employees and clients updated on the direction the company is going. Managers are passionate about developing their employees. Culture is fantastic at Paylocity and there is a strong sense of community. People at all levels of the organization are kind to one another and employees are empowered to make improvements, share their opinions, and be a part of change. The company has strong values that are genuine and can be seen every day in the way employees interact with one another and our customers. Paylocity prides itself in 'drinking our own wine' and leveraging our own products to create a modern and engaging workforce, and then sharing these insights with our own clients to help them do the same thing at their organizations.
Cons
Staffing appropriately during peak times, including year end can be a challenge. This can lead to dips in morale for some teams.

Paylocity does genuinely care about their employees. Our leadership has created a culture of trust and wants to be successful. This is furthered by our transparent leadership with their communication and direction for our company. We do believe in “drinking our own wine.”

Pros
I have worked for other payroll companies but none quite like Paylocity. Paylocity genuinely cares about its employees and helps them achieve their goals. Great to work from home and still be able to say I am part of a company like Paylocity!
Cons
When working from home on the West Coast I wish for our annual meeting we went to the Boise Office once in a while rather than Chicago every time.

The atmosphere at this company is amazing!! Everyone is professional and working towards the same goals. We take time to have fun between the work. If you get overwhelmed or too busy, someone is always ready to lend a hand!
Cons
I honestly cannot think of a downside to working for Paylocity. Everything promised in the interview process has been delivered!

Pros
Great company culture and very employee focused with the drive to acquire the best talent. They are constantly investing back into the company and their product.
Cons
Their growth has grown faster than some of their processes, so there is still room for some efficiencies and streamlined work flow.

Pros
I have seen an unbelievable growth of this company during my 10 years, but the one main staple is the company culture. It is absolutely the best. I am always amazed at how well we recruit and hire the nicest people and great team (more like family) members. The atmosphere when in the beautiful offices is great with a great work space and company activities. Being remote as much of the company always had been even before Covid, you are not left out---meetings and activities for all. Other great mentions are: the benefits are good and extensive, management cares and listens, leadership and company communication and updates are many and did I mention lots of great company swag gifted throughout the year.
Cons
Because of the quick and huge growth, the company has become very corporate with so many new jobs, titles, VPS, directors that when you used to know just about everybody, that is not true anymore and that is missed.

Pros
Paylocity is an awesome company to work for with so much growth and career opportunities! This was my first job out of college I've been working here a little over a year and have gained so much experience. Throughout my year on the phones there have been many incentives to motivate myself and earn a lot of money, multiple contests and fun company outings. Since I was willing to put in the hard work, I earned myself a promotion after just 1 year of being on the phones. The culture and fun environment is what makes the job so much better, everyone has a work hard play hard mentality. Not to mention, the very thorough training. There is a 2 week training class when you first start, as well as continuous training throughout your time in NSS.
Cons
The constant rejection on the phones was definitely a struggle for me in the beginning, but the culture in the department made it all worth it. Everyone always has your back, especially if you're having a rough day and need some help/advice on how to improve yourself. This is something that you'll have to deal with in any cold calling job, so not necessarily a con for Paylocity.
