    I worked at Payoda full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    * Great place to start your career.
    * Work was based on cutting edge technology.
    * Bootcamp training was provided to freshers.
    * Employee efforts are recognized.
    * Some architects were great leaders and manage the project efficiently.
    * Your next job will be a big one and really easy to land if you spend a year at Payoda. The learning curve is very steep.
    * Great work life balance. Team events, movies, tech-talks etc.

    Cons

    * Too many mid-level to senior engineers who do not prefer coding.
    * Senior Engineers don't keep adapting to growing technologies.
    * The pay scale is really skewed. Freshers are payed less while senior folks are over-payed.
    * Agile is prophesized but not practiced.
    * Way too much corporate politics.

    Advice to Management

    * Interviews should be conducted on core concepts rather than on specific frameworks. Such skills are transferable if the basics are strong.
    * Most employees join direct competitors indicating that enough effort is not put on retaining talented individuals.
    * Balance out the pay scale. Pay should be based on skill rather than seniority.
    * Increase transparency on client's requirements.
