I have been working at Peachtree Hotel full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Nice people overall, and at times can feel like a mom and pop business even though it's a corporation. Can be rewarding if you have the right supervisors.

    Cons

Some people in the higher up positions are a bit ostentatious, and rude. Very report heavy if you are in a salary position.

    Advice to Management

Very report heavy, and can sometimes feel a bit top heavy.

I worked at Peachtree Hotel (More than a year)

    Pros

The paychecks are on time and sometime correct...if your not hourly!

    Cons

No Structure, No brand knowledge, High turnover at all levels.

    Advice to Management

Have a plan to manage the hotels prior to purchasing. Also it is very necessary to have individuals in Regional Positions that have knowledge of each brand, not merely experience in the hospitality industry. I was employed with the organization for 2 years. During that time I had 3 Regional Directors of Sales, none of which had at knowledge regarding my brand standards. I have seen 2 Regional Directors of Operations come and go. Again not one of them have brand knowledge. The company overall has very little structure at the property level yet the organization continues to streamline at the Corporate level.

The organization has a very high level of employee turnover both management and line employees. In terms of addressing any issues and concerns, they simply say I'll get back to you. I would strongly suggest making this your last option for employment when your job seeking. There are worse things than unemployment and this organization is certainly one them.

I worked at Peachtree Hotel full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Absolutely none. There is nothing positive about this company. They have lack of hospitality knowledge and no diversity. They also have poor Regional be team development

    Cons

No procedures or processes. Low budget management team. Zero diversity. Lack of hotel knowledge. Owned by one culture yet they hire a particular culture to be the face of the company because of the stigma with working for them. Extreme turn over at the cooperate level, at least 80%.

    Cons

You don't know from one day to the next if you will have a job. Upper management has favorites, is not positive, poor guidance always crabby, If they don't want to be there leave, no one will be upset or even miss you.

    Advice to Management

quit, you don't promote employee value, only your conpensation

I have been working at Peachtree Hotel full-time

    Pros

Tammie Taylor was an outstanding VP of Sales and a mentor to many. The company lost an important leader when she left.

    Cons

Very high turnover. Computer systems are ancient. New President just makes a lot off changes without thinking it through.

    Advice to Management

Figure out what is most important and hopefully you realize it is your employees.

    Pros

Insurance benefits are good. Locations are also good. 401k plan available for salary employees. PTO balances erased and replaced with an accrual basis

    Cons

Trust is destroyed by home office field managers that go behind the back of others. They do little to support team and look for ways to manipulate to justify their value to ownership.

    Advice to Management

This is advice for ownership... regionals are destroying the trust and credibility of your culture to hide their ineptness and make you think they are solving problems when they are the ones creating the drama

    Pros

Decent benefits, and most of the line level staff cares about what they do.

    Cons

The company started out with good intentions, but have become a company of hotel flippers. The culture has turned from supportive to punitive, and relishes about putting people on the bad lists. Morale as very low in the field. This is a shame because the hotels for the most part are first class hotels.

    Advice to Management

Take a good hard and honest look at your senior leadership. They are singlehandedly destroying the little culture that is left.

    Cons

Their corporate office is a joke and do not train their management team well. They expect you to work with little pay. Has the worst turnover

    Advice to Management

Pay people properly especially the ones that are running your hotels. Train your management team. GM are worthless
