I have been working at Peachtree Orthopaedic Clinic full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Co-workers are awesome. Physicians are cream of the crop

    Cons

Lack of communication between upper management and employees. Morale is low.

    Advice to Management

Genuinely appreciate the appointment coordinators, billers, medical records techs, IT support, etc. in the same manner that you appreciate the Physicians. Everyone is important in accomplishing the end goal. If the administrative workers are appreciated in the same manner make sure they actually feel as important as they are.

I worked at Peachtree Orthopaedic Clinic full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good pay for medical billing, ability to switch departments, incentive program was a plus, good benefit package including PTO, Sick, Med/Dental/Vision. Separating employees into teams for a specific doctor was an excellent workflow. Not too much micromanaging. Some of doctors actually cared about their patients.

    Cons

Full of politics & drama. CFO was shady. Promotions were not given based on experience or work performance. Some of the doctors were too focused on making the biggest buck that patient care fell by the wayside. Lots and lots of gossip.

I have been working at Peachtree Orthopaedic Clinic (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pay is competitive, good benefits, after 1 year there is 401k plan

    Cons

Organization is not fluid in its flow from clinic to surgery center. Athletic trainers are not recognized for being health professionals with 4 year degrees or higher and are considered equal to medical assistants that do not have a college degree.

    Advice to Management

Work on a smooth transition for clinic to surgery and communication between the two. Present to your doctors the true benefits of utilizing athletic trainers to the best of their abilities.

I worked at Peachtree Orthopaedic Clinic full-time

    Pros

    Loved all of my coworkers

    Cons

Hours. Its seems as management doesnt care about their employees like they use too. The family feelings and feelings of being valued have disappeared.

    Advice to Management

Do random employee appreciation events or outings. Maybe take a day for team building. Employees like to feel appreciated at times.
