I have been working at Peapod full-time

    Pros

If you work hard enough and have the right skills you can move up in the company.
The pay is decent and you need little to no experience to start in all warehouse positions.
    Good benefits with 401K

    Cons

You usually have to work on holidays and overtime is mandatory. Management in warehouse locations is a joke. If you want to see improvement, start looking at some of your long time managers who no longer think they need to do anything.

    Advice to Management

Accountability is lacking in almost all areas. Define who is accountable for what and stick to that. When people know what they are responsible for, they will work harder to make sure they do their part well.

I worked at Peapod as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

The corporate office had a very friendly atmosphere and welcoming environment. They made you feel like family and employees were helpful and nice.

    Cons

Lack of communication, mainly from the HR department, proved to be a big issue. Primarily with past employees who needed to get in contact with HR for various reasons.

    Advice to Management

Have more HR staff at the corporate level who are readily available to tackle concerns and issues with employees, both past and current.
