    Pros

Good direct management and the work keeps you busy throughout the day. Mostly busy work but makes the day go by faster.

    Cons

Very much Under Paid and no room for advancement. Upper management does not seem to care about the smaller employees in the company. It is a good job but by no sense of the word is it a career.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your employees better. Look out for the smaller guy. These people are the ones that get you to where you are today.

    Pros

    Lots of hours
    Pay is fair

    Cons

    Poor communication
    Opinions are ignored
When you ask a lead to help you, it can take a few hours for them to get it done, and you know they aren't working because they are standing around casually conversing with other employees. That is if what you ask them to do ever gets done at all.
Only one of the trainers knows what she is doing 100% of the time, but that might just be because Peapod is lax with their training and the others don't seem as motivated.
Training in departments outside of shopping and load racks can use a vast improvement.
First shift can randomly screw over the rest of the the shifts by "forgetting" to do vital parts of their duties and leaving.

    Advice to Management

Get new Leads, some of the current ones don't deserve to be there.
Training needs to be looked at. When asking about applying for the training position, I learned that the trainers get payed nearly the same, and sometimes less than some of the people they have to train (after pay differentials). That is really not cool if you ask me.

I have been working at Peapod full-time

    Pros

If you work hard enough and have the right skills you can move up in the company.
The pay is decent and you need little to no experience to start in all warehouse positions.
    Good benefits with 401K

    Cons

You usually have to work on holidays and overtime is mandatory. Management in warehouse locations is a joke. If you want to see improvement, start looking at some of your long time managers who no longer think they need to do anything.

    Advice to Management

Accountability is lacking in almost all areas. Define who is accountable for what and stick to that. When people know what they are responsible for, they will work harder to make sure they do their part well.

I have been working at Peapod full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Union backing, Full time healthcare benefits, multiple locations, ability to get full time if you're a go getter

    Cons

Work/life balance, high pressure, always rush-rush mentality, bosses not always helpful, co-workers can be very selfish

    Advice to Management

Not to be so abrasive when employees seek time off, weekday or weekend, not to take anger/frustration you get from your bosses out on your full/part time associates
