I worked at Pearl Therapeutics full-time

      Pros

Good people (below level of senior management)

      Cons

Current management is too concerned about how they look to the parent company (AZ) to understand there are good ideas and good people already in place.

      Advice to Management

Value the experience of the people already in place. Just because something comes from AZ doesn't mean that it should be adopted every time.

I worked at Pearl Therapeutics full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Good Health Benefits. 3 weeks PTO!!

      Cons

No room to grow. Management expect a lot from person with low level title. Lack of good management. HR listen to you but take no action. Pay scale not fair compare to other biotech companies. Need to know in lab floor, huge noise pollution from Spray Dryer machine that can cause huge damage to your ears. Senior Technicians always complain about your long beaks to manager and wants to work their way rather than working...

      Advice to Management

Get rid off senior technicians who play politics and hire good manager/supervisors who can make their hands wet when technicians need help.

I have been working at Pearl Therapeutics

        Pros

product MAY work well for COPD if they finish and file for approval ahead of competitors.

        Cons

Hiring unqualified and lazy people to work, who stares at their computer and does poor quality of work. You can't change these people. It is a blind leading a blind organization. unqualified people are at VP and CMO level. People who work with vendors receive kick backs 9vacationing with vendors, etc...)

        Advice to Management

Get rid of CMO, VPs, and all employees and merge it with AZ.
