Pros
PHS has a legitimate passion for pediatric home care. They go above and beyond to provide the highest quality home care services for their families. They also exceed expectations for providing support to their employees. I would recommend PHS as a top quality home care provider and great place to work!!
Cons
No negative comments to share.

Pros
They are truly a great company to work for. They care for their families and their nurses and try their best to make everyone happy. Weekends are no longer required and they have a block schedule, which is nice and predictable. Their training is great too! As a new grad, I felt well taken care of.
Cons
Pay rate isn’t the best. I know this isn’t entirely their fault because it’s due to legislation issues with home care and reimbursement to home care agencies . Can feel isolating since you’re on your own in the field, but someone is always a phone call away.

Pros
PHS truly cares about their patients. I've witnessed case managers go above and beyond to advocate when it comes to contacting the right people to get clarification on orders, med refills, or specific resources. I haven't had any "bad" encounters with nurses in the home. Everyone does their part and is willing to help the next nurse on shift with some tasks. Scheduling is phenomenal with my time preferences. If you reach out to the office, they will hear you out and take action. Every time I've reached out to the office about my hours or my workload, they've been prompt to respond which made me feel really supported!
Cons
Compensation could be more competitive compared to other companies. Support from the office is inconsistent but this is because office nurses have been working in the field from nurse shortages. The work can be repetitive and there aren't many opportunities to grow further in your career. It's great for people who like to know what to expect and enjoy a consistent routine. You really get to know your patients and almost become part of the family.

Pros
This company has an amazing mission that brings together people with some of the biggest hearts you'll meet. If you choose to work here, know that you will work alongside a team of staff that is incredibly caring, dedicated, and overall just good people. This company does a fantastic job of taking care of the kids and families it serves, and consistently strives for improvement.
Cons
While well-intentioned, this company seems to be struggling to grapple with the realities of growth. Their organizational structure can be disorganized and downright dysfunctional. As a fairly new employee, however, it is hard to know if this is due to problems related to employment difficulties during the Covid-19 pandemic or not, and I know that many of the organizational problems will likely be improved with increased staffing.
