I have been working at Peel Hotels full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Running a small team I feel like I am more involved in day to day affairs and helping out with any issues there may be in the hotel. There is a lot of repeat custom and you can always interact with the guests and share stories.

    Cons

Rooms are in need of re decorating and the key system needs updating. Saturday nights are always sold out but head office seem reluctant to let us make breakfast inclusive so the numbers will increase. There also seems to be a reluctance in hiring new members of staff so as a team we are very stretched.

    Advice to Management

Listen to staff ideas and encourage there input into the business.

I worked at Peel Hotels part-time

    Pros

Everyone was really friendly and great staff morale. It is a busy hotel and challenged me and I very much enjoyed my work here. This hotel gave me a great set of skills in my first role in the hospitality industry.

    Cons

Long and unsociable hours- however this is hospitality so expected
