I have been working at Pensacola Christian College full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Conservative Christian environment. Lots of support from supervisors and coworkers. Cohesive environment that makes teamwork easy and effective. Many opportunities to interact with people of all ages, backgrounds, professions, and ethnicities.

    Cons

Leadership is often closed to new ideas and suggestions. Not enough delegation of leadership. All major decisions go through the President of the ministry instead of giving decision-making power to department supervisors.

I worked at Pensacola Christian College part-time

    Pros

Excellent environment. Staff is friendly, caring, and reliable once you make a connection. This is a institution more like a ministry that exists to serve, prepare, and guide college students in their selected fields as well as their personal lives and needs.

    Cons

There are numerous regulations on all aspects of your life but it is in order to be above reproach.

    Advice to Management

Everyone makes mistakes, and while consequences do and should come for wrong actions, it is important to keep in mind the ministry and christian aspect that Christ portrayed here on earth of not only discipline but also guiding those that have fallen and obviously are not where they need to be spiritually to do better in order to lay a foundation for better future behavior. So many occasions I have seen people shut out and neglected, and their lives have degraded into horrible states over hurt, bitterness, and neglect of the people they thought were their friends and their loving leaders and their "iron". And that is a tragedy painful to watch.

I worked at Pensacola Christian College part-time

    Pros

I love love love the people that I worked with and enjoyed meeting new people. A lot of my friends now are dinning Service people.

    Cons

The managers were horrible. They could have cared less about the students and they really wanted when it came to their food. I hated the fact that they student leaders who would be in charge. Sometimes they were younger than me and we're beyond immature. The school itself was very closed minded and did want they only saw right in there eyes. I was there for five years and saw good people change into dictators real quick.

    Advice to Management

If any one feels like they have a calling to go to PCC, make sure that is really what God wants u to do and not what anyone else wants u to do. Also keep in mind that PCC is not what it seems. There alot of people there who are fake and really only care about making themselves look good.

I have been working at Pensacola Christian College part-time

    Pros

PCC provides a stable work environment in which I can work my way through college while still having a decent amount of time for studying and extracurricular activities.

    Cons

Very small chance of advancing in your job. I've stayed in the same position for 3 years doing hard work and there is no chance of better pay/promotion.

    Advice to Management

Provide some incentives and/or better chances for promotion/raises for the students who have worked above and beyond what they are required.
