I have been working at People Ideas & Culture full-time for more than a year

    Pros

PI&C is a place where everyone has an opportunity to grow and learn the entire package. Yes there is a lot to do but if you want to grow that is the only way. As young people here we get what we would not get anywhere else.

    Cons

Yes there is a lot of work...

    Advice to Management

Keep growing it so we can have more people

    Pros

    Nice office in good location

    Cons

Like most of the reviews have already stated, the owners of this agency are totally sketch and conniving. When they offered me a job, they refused to put anything in writing and then lied about my offer and compensation. In other words, stay away. You can do better than this place.

I worked at People Ideas & Culture full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great coworkers, fun dogs, small agency so you work on every client

    Cons

Wish I took these reviews seriously before working here. Toxic environment and overall slimy company. Domenico is manipulative and refuses to put stuff in writing when it comes to salary...which is sketchy...expecting you to accept offer before receiving the offer letter? Hm. Employees are overworked and are usually working for hardly nothing. They take advantage of people trying to get VISAs, and people in general....

    Advice to Management

Hire HR or someone who can help you run the agency. Listen to why people are leaving and work towards changing those things so people want to stay. And what should go unsaid...treat your employees right. Maybe read a book on it or something if it’s a hard concept to grasp.

    Pros

There's definitely a ton of opportunity for people who are young in their careers at PI&C, primarily because there's little to no discernible hierarchy or organization. If you're looking for a place where you can dabble in multiple disciplines, take on projects outside of your professional comfort zone, and have 24/7 access to alcohol this is the agency for you.

    Cons

Management is moody, erratic, and way more interested an idea having a clever title than than whether it's smart, strategic, or executable in any way. Domenico runs the agency like his personal playground and don't be surprised to be the object of a pass or two if you're young, attractive, and female. Neither he or Doug are all that concerned about supporting or teaching their (often very inexperienced) staff....

    Advice to Management

Separate personal from professional, especially when it comes to hiring and firing. Take time to teach your staff how to work effectively within an agency if you're going to hire people right out of school.

    Pros

Can get you into the door.

    Cons

Don't let this place fool you with their swanky leather couches and Prosecco bottles. They're a sweat shop. BAD pay. LONG hours. Abusive toxic environment.

    Advice to Management

    Hire better people.

    Pros

Great lesson for life: it ain't easy. As for everything in life, if you want something, you have to go and get it. Here you learn it very quickly, without all the unnecessary sugar-coating you get everywhere else -- which eventually spoils and slows you down. What you learn here... it will accelerate you no matter what you challenge yourself with during this or in the future.

    Cons

Unfortunately this is not for everyone (which is a good thing). Lots of people around you may whine and eventually quit (and end up on Glassdoor). Others will do the job half-assed and eventually quit (and also end up here on Glassdoor). But those willing to get it done here are the backbone whom you know you can trust always, and for whom you are willing to give 120% to every day.

    Advice to Management

Get us more great people to play and build the awesome with.

I worked at People Ideas & Culture full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The advertising industry has a lot of agencies that claim to be doing things differently, but PI&C is the only agency that is actually genuinely doing things differently. They are flexible. They are innovative. And they are good people with good hearts who are fun to hang out with.

    Cons

For a lot of people here, it's their first experience in an advertising agency. This can be good, because everyone is fresh, energetic and eager and they haven't learned any bad habits yet. But it also presents two disadvantages. The first one is that people don't realize just how good they have it! You won't appreciate this place until you've worked in a stale holding company behemoth. The second one is that the...
