    Pros

There wasn't any pros with this company. I can't find anything good to say about this poorly managed company by people thst are wsy too egotistical

    Cons

No support... no communication and oh yeah they don't pay their employees... arrogant senior leadership back stabbers unprofessionalism at its best!

    Advice to Management

    Pay your people properly

I worked at People Store full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

When you quit and walk out

    Cons

-The worst most unprofessional management I have ever experienced, manager will talk about other coworkers the moment they leave the room, coworkers will have screaming matches across the room and the manager will just sit there and laugh, no personal information is kept private manger will disclose everything, workers are teased knives are thrown in your back the moment you turn away it’s like being in high school all over again, absolutely disgusting!
-You may have one job title but wear the hats of many more, very long hours plus expected to do after hours once the office closes and on weekends
-Extremely high favoritism manger treats some workers like a best friend then another worker like crap
-Owner does not care turns a blind eye to all of this and takes his branch managers words.
Overall the worst place I have ever worked at there are plenty of better staffing agencies out there stay away from this place!

    Advice to Management

Actually train your mangers on well... how to be managers and not just give it to someone who has been there the longest

I worked at People Store full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Bonuses are decent during peak, but only during peak, rest of year pretty bad and low.

    Cons

Management is the worst. Too many "Directors" who don't work. John Nallis turns a blind eye to his management team not doing ther job, n they think they can get away with it. NEVER at there phone when needed... Whenever used to call to reach payroll they are never at desk. Management is barely working. Cheap company. Poor values.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to actually do there job. I think the owner needs to better compensate and wake up to a dysfunctional management team who does nothing.

I worked at People Store full-time

    Pros

Nothing to appreciate. Fake promises but nothing worked as per they said. Nothing followed legally.

    Cons

Everything is a con. No values, zero leadership, and no company structure. Managers are not qualified to lead. They can't make any decisions on their own and don't have answers or solutions when approached. Manager is not qualified at all. No HR experience and unethical. Every week there is someone quitting probably because of the low pay and no company vision. Company does not pay temporary worker. Collects old cheques and only reissues them to the worker if they ask. Company will not be around in 5 years.

    Advice to Management

Get managers who support and can make decisions on their own.

I have been working at People Store full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Bonus Structure during peak times were great but they only last in peak times.
    Great for temporary staff needs.

    Cons

Poor Management, very un-professional environment , find it to be very high-school with gossip.
Keep being lead on for growth opportunity. Upper management keep giving false pretenses of growth opportunity within company.
Poor support with training . find constantly coming in on weekends and working overtime while manager does not put forth the effort for extra training or orientations with staff.

    Advice to Management

Hire better Management to encourage staff and motivate them

    Pros

A couple of the workers there are fantastic and made it somewhat enjoyable at times to be there.

    Cons

Very catty working environment, felt uncomfortable to be there most of the time as everyone talked poorly of each other as soon as they had left the room. There was a complete lack of training and development which was promised. CEO is also very self absorbed and either does not look at the bigger picture or just does not care to. Career advancement was promised and never followed through. I found upper management was very unprofessional in how they handled situations.

    Advice to Management

Create a better team environment by treating everyone equal and with respect to eliminate the bad culture it is producing, more training and development for staff, and follow through on promises you make to your employees and future hires. Also training for upper management I highly recommend.
