    Pros

If you are smart and actually produce quality work you are recognized and promoted. Most people who complain about pay and not being promoted are lower performers and don't want to accept that in a big company everyone isnt given a raise each year. It takes some skill to navigate the big company mechanics now that Infor owns the company but if you can figure that part out and produce quality work you will go far. The opportunity is tremendous now that the company has 13,000 employees instead of 115.

    Cons

Because it is a big company a lot of people are able to hide and not do a lot of work. Sometimes the logistics get a little tricky. Would have been nice for the previous owner to share even a small amount of the incredible profit from selling the company but everyone still seems to be in a better place because of the opportunity that being a part of Infor provides.

    Advice to Management

Keep rewarding quality work. Get rid of the complainers more quickly instead of just waiting for them to leave on their own.

    Pros

Great at what they do. Really interesting place to work industry wise.

    Cons

I witness workplace hostility & bullying everyday in a department I sit near. The whole organization is not like this, but no one seems to do anything and everyone knows about it.

    Advice to Management

Stand up for your employees and do the right thing or they will continue to turn over. We have some really great leadership in other departments, I am not sure why they are not stepping in and doing the right thing. This has been a problem for years with a select group.

    Pros

The company's culture is pretty strong and it employs a lot of friendly people who are down to earth. It is also seeing a lot of growth lately.

    Cons

Sometimes ethics take the backseat while making a sales, prospects are told what they want to hear and the sales people are told to be too pushy when approaching prospect clients. The company doesn't invest in its employees, employees need better equipment and tools to do their jobs. Also, the office is very crammed. The management tries to build cubes in every little space they find in the building.

Also, benefits are not distributed evenly. New employees are allowed to work from home whereas the more tenured employees are being told that they have to be at the office location at all times. Clearly the company discriminates between new employees and more tenured employees. More tenured employees should be able to work remotely, especially knowing that the office is overpopulated.

    Advice to Management

Be fair when distributing rewards. Don't base the rewards on politics and improve the benefits substantially. Invest in your employees and provide them with better equipment.
