I worked at PeopleReady full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great feeling when you can help someone get back on their feet with a job!

    Cons

Long hours in the seasonal months, you are on call for holidays, weekends, nights, etc. so expect to have 60 - 70 hour weeks for about 4 - 6 months out of the year, female boss had it in for me and wouldn't help me or return calls or include me in any group calls and she never visited my branch even though she drove right by it and spent countless hours at other branches, some branches are so close that you are 'poaching' in each others territories without knowing it.

    Advice to Management

Make sure the regional managers are actually doing their job, visit the branches yourselves and ask how things are going.

    I worked at PeopleReady full-time

    Pros

-Self-gratifying work if you enjoy placing people to temporary work.
-CLP is part of Trueblue Inc, the leader in blue collar staffing.
-Not sure how it is now but back in 14' the commission structure was good and almost guaranteed
-Good balance of hardworking and laid back days.

    Cons

    -No upward mobility.
-Raises are a joke, almost offensive.
    - Unreliable co-workers can sometimes cause work to pile up and you have no choice but to accept it.
-Staffing in construction is seasonal and this may cause inconsistent work to the people you place assignments for. Granted the essence of a temp agency is meant solely by providing "temporary" work yet some folks don't quite understand this to a degree and it can feel like you're walking in eggshells sometimes.

    Advice to Management

Hire more dependable and reliable internal workers. It would also be a good idea to consider hiring younger folks with a college degree.
