I have been working at PeopleReady full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    -Strong existing customer base
    -Standard hours with minimal exceptions
-Not as focused on day labor/short term assignments as sister company Labor Ready
    -Experienced local management

    Cons

-Became the forgotten child in the PeopleReady acquisition. The company focused more attention on better margin Labor Ready business. Always felt we we're devalued within company.
-Archaic record keeping for temp employees
-Lower pay for specialists than comparable companies

  5. "Great for Temporary but beware of Perma-temping"

    I worked at PeopleReady full-time

    Pros

As a temporary sign up and send out job, it was fast and easy to get signed up and sent out to a job. The office team always called back and I never felt ignored when I had issues. I worked for them for 5 years and their staff remained the same at the home office which was also a big plus.

    Cons

They don't do well with long term benefits. Health care is offered but it is the lowest level possible, 401K benefits were recently dropped. Though W-2's were digital, which was a plus - there was almost always something wrong on your W-2. Last issue is that CLP sees their clients as the people you are working for NOT you. They were never anti-employee but it was obvious that keeping business flowing was more important than pushing limits to try and get you paid at a higher rate. You have to play hard ball, they will not do that for you.
