I have been working at Peoplelink Staffing full-time

    Pros

There are none. They wouldnt even answer the phone

    Cons

I am a temp through them and so far they have screwed me out of 36 hours on 3 checks in total and I have called them multiple times only for them to tell me they don't know

    Advice to Management

Call your Joplin location and talk to them about not screwing people over in their paychecks. I worked that 36 hours and I would like to be compensated for it

I worked at Peoplelink Staffing full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The company helped me set up and begin work quickly with my selected company, set up my pay and benefits with little hassle and communicated clearly what was expected as a temporary worker under them.

    Cons

Didn't see every company that they work with directly, but they seemed to be connected locally with no mention of another branch anywhere near their location. also, the office is tucked away in a small mini-mall that has seen better days.

    Advice to Management

Can't complain or give much on management, being that I've yet to be in their position. Keep up the good work, and keep things fair is all i can say.

    Pros

Some of the coworkers are really great people.

    Cons

They need better upper management. The ones there now are a joke. Most unprofessional I've ever worked with compared to other staffing companies. That's why they have a very high turnover.

Lots of general statements made here with nothing to back them up. Upper management a "joke?" Why? What in particular have you experienced that drives you to this conclusion? "Most... More

I worked at Peoplelink Staffing full-time

    Pros

Comparable benefits to the industry. You can move up fast because there's always openings.

    Cons

They change policies like we change outfits. Extremely high turnover - that should tell you something. They love bullying employees. Until upper management changes, don't get too comfortable. You think you're doing a good job then they surprise you.

    Advice to Management

Start over with all upper managers.

    Pros

They hire a lot of women

    Cons

Only valued if you have been there 20 years. They don't pay very well.

    Advice to Management

Open your eyes and value people

I have been working at Peoplelink Staffing full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You are able to speak with many different kind of people daily. You stay so busy that the day flies by. The energetic spirit in the office can keep you motivated.

    Cons

The position has so much work and so many hours, but the pay isn't great. You are not allowed to be creative in this role. You say that you can. There has been several employees leaving within the a month of working and all recruiters are always looking for another job. You can get stuck at this job because you sign away working at any other staffing agencies.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate the employees and listen to the needs.

"Upper Management needs a complete overhaul"

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

The company as a whole is well run and informative about staffing; Very client-driven and adjusts well to client needs; Lower level corporate support is usually great to deal with.

    Cons

Constant negativity from upper management who continually wastes time with unnecessary reports that are not utilized for any specific purpose. A few bad eggs spoil the bunch and suck up a lot of corporate money that would be better allocated elsewhere. There is no accountability for these people and their lack of positive leadership diminishes morale among the offices. When you can actually get approval for a raise, it is so slight that it's degrading. And NEVER count on any payouts for contests that they have!!

    Advice to Management

    * Better/more positive leadership from upper management (would highly recommend a complete overhaul with people who actually answer their phones and are willing to help ... FYI, delegating your tasks to other people is NOT leadership and it is NOT helpful)
    * Stay true to your word!
    * Appreciate the people who work hard and they will work harder for you --- it's true.
    * ANNUAL RAISES!!!! -- people should never have to ASK for a raise! And the raises should be in line with cost of living increases and performance reviews (not whether or not the person holding the pen likes you or not)
