I worked at Peoples Bank full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Loved all the people I worked with and all of the customers. There is a great atmosphere, good growth opportunities and competitive pay.

    Cons

You occasionally have to work Saturdays, and you do stand for a few hours at a time so good supportive shoes are a must.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing but maybe consider a stool that goes under the station so when no customers are in the bank the employees at the teller line could sit for a few minutes while working on administrative work.

I worked at Peoples Bank full-time

    Pros

    Great starting wage, friendly co-workers.

    Cons

Work merit doesn't always speak for itself towards advancement. Experience vs. the personal policies of some management means little.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees like a well-adjusted family and you'll be rewarded. PTO should be better for starting employees. Most competing banks offer 14 days of PTO to start. Never change the community banking formula, big banks don't offer that, and once you convert to full retail metrics it's over.
