    Pros

    Good base pay for manufacturing job
    Ability to bid on in-house positions based on seniority
    Good benefits (Aetna)
    Plenty of hours

    Cons

    Production schedule, no knowledge of work status many times until 20 hours beforehand.
    Schedule changes day to day, hence no ability to plan anything outside work
    Poor management
    Poor leadership from supervisors
    Quality standards continually degrading
    Seemingly no care for the employees
    Training is handled very poorly, have to self teach many things
    No sick days
    Going on medical costs you 1 point
    Point system is unforgiving to personal circumstances.

    Advice to Management

    Care more about the employees on every shift.

    Pros

    If you strive in an environment that crushes your spirit and tries to turn you into a robot then this is the place for you. Employees mean nothing, you are just a warm body trying to keep the lights on.

    Cons

    Not enough space here to list all of the cons! No life balance; no respect; experience is looked down upon.

    Advice to Management

    Pull your head out of the world of make believe and come back to reality.

    great pay and thats about it! oh the store is cheap.

    Cons

    Hard to find friendly people HR is not available at all and when they are you get noting but attitude. such a negative work environment.

    have a complete 180 turn around with your additudes

    Good pay, availability to move up

    Management never helped but thought they knew the job better then the employees who did it every day.

    Advice to Management

    Respect the employees more. Treat them good and they will stay at the company longer.

    Pepperidge Farm is a fair and equitable company that is competitive with their compensation to their employees as long as you achieve your objectives.

    Cons

    Sometimes they set very aggressive sales goals which can be a bit out of reach but that's why they call it a bonus if you achieve your goals.

    The field sales force is the eyes and ears to the operations and can be very helpful in making decisions if utilized.
