    Positive Outlook

    I worked at Pepperl+Fuchs full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

US management listens to concerns, is honest and communicates well. Company has always striven to produce quality products. When problems do arise, which they do in any manufacturing arena, they respond favorably to address and correct any issues. A steady stream of new products always provides a path to communications with both new and existing customers.

    Cons

Size of the company and headquarters across the pond sometimes creates an unanticipated and slower response than is expected and or desired.

    Advice to Management

While is it important / critical to take a view of the company from different elevations never lose sight of what is happening at the street level.

    I worked at Pepperl+Fuchs part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    PTO is decent.

    Cons

If you're not an engineer, you're not important to the engine that makes P+F run

    Advice to Management

It's difficult to determine if ALL the problems P+F has with setting policy and procedure goes back to Germany or if it's just a convenience for the US management team to blame them for every deceit and inconsistency as it relates to the process of this large corporation,. The deceit as it pertains to procedures raises all kinds of red flags with leadership. Advancement opportunities or NOT there unless perhaps you're 20 something, male OR have the tenacity to endure decades of working in the same position...

    Pros

    Good entry level opportunities
    Positive global brand recognition

    Cons

Salaried employees must punch in/out for breaks. Every time.....
Poor management ability. Resistant to new ideas.
Best described as a prison for engineers.

    Advice to Management

Shake things up and replace or reposition middle management
Reward performance, not longetivity on company payroll

I worked at Pepperl+Fuchs (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Stable strong company overall but future outlook for PA division is not good and FA and PA divisions are different animals.

    Cons

Pay is below average, management is not doing what's best for long run and Germany tries to run North American like Europe and our market is different. Changes will hurt the company is long run.

    Advice to Management

Make it easy for customers to work with you and value your employees and treat them better and pay them better. Corporate direction is not good and Germany should not run NA like rest of world.

    Pros

Paychecks are on time. Location . Have a good brand name in the marketplace. Owned by a German Company. No other information is available.

    Cons

First you have to determine which division you're posting a review for. Peppers-Fuchs is a two division that operates as two distinct companies. The FA division and the PA division. The management structure is completely different. The FA side is a well rune company. While the PA side is a run away train. Lack of poor management starts at the top and continues throughout. Micromanage in every since of the word. Everybody is scared to make a decision. Consenquently, nothing gets resolved. The COO favorite words are "your lucky I don't fire you". When will the Mothership wake up?

    Advice to Management

    Wake Up !!
