I have been working at PepsiCo as an intern

    Pros

Great team, all the way from drivers to managers, everyone was very helpful! PepsiCo is an amazing company with a lot of opportunities for growth . Managers are not on top of you 24/7, they give you freedom to go out and figure how to make your project impactful.

    Cons

There are a lot of early mornings ! Started as soon as 5:30 am

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Competitive benefits package, good starting salary, easy process to pick up, well located for driving or public transportation.

    Cons

Management is lacking, chances for advancement are severely lacking, the new beverage tax is taking a toll on the industry.

    Advice to Management

Overall company communication needs to improve, from manager to supervisor to frontline employees and back up. Supervisor/employee relationships need restructuring into more professional roles.

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Major CPG company, best in class marketing with access to lots of resource; top brands, smart people, lots of global opportunities.

    Cons

Pepsico Nutrition group is extremely matrixed. Continue to cut budgets, overall declining morale, and the business just cannot turn around.

I worked at PepsiCo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Multi faceted experiences with lots of opportunity, benefits on par average but not top notch, many challenges at every level

    Cons

Very political environment, low accountability for poor or fast talking associates, solid performers overlooked or taken for granted, turnover high

    Advice to Management

Walk your talk, manage for long term, not short term personal gain

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There is an open and honest work environment with great senior leadership that are supportive. Interesting work, flexibility, good people.

    Cons

People often discount prior experience outside of the company. It can be hard to move to other role as there are people that seem to remain in roles for "life" at higher levels.

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Opportunities to learn new things and work in many different functions. Groups with good leadership do a good job of creating development opportunities for employees. Benefits and perks are pertty good (health, dental, 401k match, on site gym and health clinic).

    Cons

Finding your next role can be difficult if you don't know the right people, so networking within the company is a must. Work/life balance can suffer depending on which group you are in.
