I worked at PepsiCo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Being close to home, and allowing you the opportunity to make life long friends, and also granting you the availability to move up the ranks fairly quickly if and only if THEY LIKE YOU.

    Cons

Long and hard work. Higher ups didn't care how long you've been working or what you do for them if they didn't like you.

    Advice to Management

    Stop with the favoritism

    Pros

    Healthcare, wages, many shifts available

    Cons

Overtime, stringent disciplinary actions, work life balance, difficult to move positions

    Advice to Management

As a large company I understand the need for a detailed policy handbook, however I have seen good, hardworking people loose their positions for very petty situations that needed human sympathy.

Also, it can be very difficult to be promoted from with as most positions are seniority based.

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Company pays extremely well. Company has great benefits package. Company has opportunities for promotions and job movement. Company gives awards & recognition when achieved.

    Cons

Company does not honor work/life balance. Company allows favoritism. Company can force you over or in early for 4 hours.

    Advice to Management

I would ask that management spend more time on the floor talking to employees and not just listen to supervisors. Things need to be seen that are not being conveyed from them.
