    I worked at PepsiCo full-time

    Pros

Innovation is a priority; resources needed to support innovation and quality are provided thanks to an outstanding Chief Science Officer.

    Cons

PepsiCo is bloated with senior executives--too many chiefs can lead to paralysis by analysis. PepsiCo has a hard time making any decision or even holding a meeting with senior leaders without having a polished powerpoint deck.

    Advice to Management

Think lean. Offer early retirements to many VPs and Sr VPs, as well as many of the 20-30 year people who only do enough to get satisfactory ratings with evolutionary approaches rather than revolutionary approaches.

    Pros

Great Benefits, company on resume you can go anywhere.

    Cons

Pigeon hold, very hard to advance within dept. Annual percentage is REALLY low, better to come in at good salary.

    Advice to Management

Talent leaving your company because of no career opportunities.

I have been working at PepsiCo as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - great pay
    - flexible hours
    - great people and management
    - clear business goals and vision
    - challenging workload
    - beautiful facilities + campus

    Cons

    - commute
    - team + management may be in separate location

    Advice to Management

Have manager be located in the same location as the interns, its hard to onboard when there area not many people on your team in the same location.

I worked at PepsiCo (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Excellent leadership team. PepsiCo cares for employees and takes the time and resources to develop its labor force.

    Cons

Benefits were best in the world. I feel PepsiCo's benefit are not a major differentiating point.

    Advice to Management

Keep the great job. Keep the leadership on social causes and keep the journey to make PepsiCo products healthier.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at PepsiCo (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good starting pay, good moral support from everyone besides management

    Cons

General messages sent out through text complaining about going over hours, overtime is frowned upon, won't ask full timers to do extra work but will force it on part timers without paying full time salary, full time possibility's were kicked out the door because management went over budget.

    Advice to Management

Notice the hard workers, demote the ones who have been complained about countless times.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at PepsiCo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Not a lot. Stock will still go up as long as they keep stripping out the core benefits that retains employees but costs the company $$ to retain the them. No pension, no 401K match, middle of the road benefit plan, salary increases consistently 2 to 3 % behind the cost of living.

    Cons

A reverse discrimination field. If you are a white male from North America you are @ the bottom, black male & white females are next. Your abilities and work ethic have nothing to do with advancing @ PepsiCo.

    Advice to Management

Senior management is completely out of touch. with reality. C-Suite should be replaced with executives that get it.

I worked at PepsiCo as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great professional support from the management in the group I was working in. Leadership were also very receptive to my reaching out for coffee chats and advise.

    Cons

The onboarding process can be improved -- it took a few weeks to get me fully into the system. As I was only there for the summer, this took time away from productivity.

I have been working at PepsiCo (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Multinational, household name brands, performance with purpose, high quality personnel

    Cons

Has undergone several large reorganisations, and seems to be in a constant state of flux. Trying to work out a new organisational structure. Pressure from discounters, retail trade consolidation, and anti-sugar lobby.

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Working with smart people who are the best in their industry, prestige of working at top company

    Cons

Lots of talk of work life balance, but then seen as slacker if you decided to enjoy the "benefits", difficult to move up when you are not in middle management. They create ways to "develop talent" for top directors only

    Advice to Management

Remember when you were also trying to move up -- people helped you. Its not all "self serve" if your managers do not want to participate
