I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent pay, very good benefits, a job if you need to provide for your family, awesome store receivers that help you out (most of the time)

    Cons

Man every single about Frito lay sucks, RSR get screwed very bad when it comes to sales. Only get back around 1.5% of commission if you don't hit your number they'll take it away from your check, very very long hours 65-70 a week, no family time, DSL's stress you out like crazy, always on call, they throw in extra product into your orders to hit numbers and causes extra back stock. Send no help when you are running late, insane numbers for plan! Greedy company.

    Advice to Management

    Stop stressing out your RSR's!

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I still get a paycheck but not as big as it used to be

    Cons

The cons to this job is such a huge list I will just talk about one thing. We are so short on people in La Mirada California that we will have seven down routes next week because so many people have quit this horrible job. It's 2:00 PM on Friday and I'm on vacation next week. I just received a call from work and asked me if I will cancel my vacation because there is no one to run my route. Management doesn't think it's their fault that people are quitting but it is. Look in the mirror management everyone hates this job.

    Advice to Management

Just leave us alone and let us do our route

I worked at PepsiCo full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

There is a lot of growth potential and learning opportunities.

    Cons

The company does not care for its people and is driven by the bottom line only. People are overworked and it makes for an environment where errors can be made.

I worked at PepsiCo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

great pay, lots of overtime, I enjoyed the physical work to an extent

    Cons

Back problems, back problems, back problems, I never started having back problems until I worked for this company, warehouse stack pallets to high and you have to rebuild them before the receiver takes it in the back of the truck, a lot of bending over and rushing, also the main reason I had to quit was because of the 4AM start time...

    Advice to Management

train and treat new drivers better, don't leave it up to any driver to train new people, warehouse needs to shrink rap the pallets better and stop stacking them 6 feet high, start time for the drivers should be 8am... you would keep a lot more drivers at that start time

    Advice to Management

Become professional, study, research, evolve and stop lying.

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Used to be pay, benefits, and hours.

    Cons

Reduced pay system coming soon. Work all holidays and weekends. Management only cares about what goes into the backroom and not what's right for the customer. Just last week I was forced out 20+ cases of Matador Jerky to shove into a Walmart so ZBM can get his numbers.

    Advice to Management

Stop telling us to "just follow the plan". How about letting us build the customer and sell them the correct items at each store which are local in character.

Stop saying we family because we are not ! You guy treat us employees like crap ! They smile in your face then stab you in your back . Heartless company.

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    It's a paycheck , but a shrinking one at that .

    Cons

CEO receives a 13% pay increase for 2016 , meanwhile frontline employees converted to "Performance Pay" received on average a 20% pay cut.

    Advice to Management

Ditch performance pay system. The frontline team has made this company what it is today. All this pay system is doing is causing mass turnover , and you can't replace the experience you are losing . Frito lays successful days are numbered. Investors Beware

    Pros

Pay is good. But you will definitely earn it

    Cons

You will work for that good pay. And work. And work. And work. Be prepared to devote your entire life to the company. If you have a family and kids. Take a good look. You won`t see them too much anymore.

    Advice to Management

Try going back on a route for a few weeks. Experience the mess that has been made out of a once great company
