I worked at PepsiCo as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Learned a lot of new concepts to apply in the real world. Everyone at my office wanted me to truly succeed. Very competitive, yet very reward driven business

    Cons

Not much of a group environment. Must be self driven to meet success. Long hours and early hours.

    Advice to Management

Should have more networking events within the interns and management. We had only one at Buena Park. More time spent at the office touring the facility I think have a great foundation is key to success.

I have been working at PepsiCo as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Two of the best reasons to work at PepsiCo is the added experience you receive in the short three months through the internship and because of the individuals you get to work with. The experiences I gained were incredible and honestly gave me the information I was wanting to know about for when I graduate and enter into a full time job. Everything from managing my own projects, being an effective communicator, and seeing the benefit that I can make on a day to day basis was at some times challenging, but always satisfying. Next is the people, PepsiCo is truly filled with amazing individuals. There was never a time where I was lost in my projects or had questions about the company where I couldn't find someone to help me and go above and beyond for me. What I enjoyed most was the fact that they helped me in such a way that allowed me to still be independent and learn as much as possible.

    Cons

This job is not easy and this company will push you. That is not necessarily a con for me, I enjoyed the work that I got to partake in. However, I was fairly warned that there would be long hours, hard work, and competitive moments throughout my summer. Whereas I know some other interns had a different experience and were never told about the hard work that was to come.

    Advice to Management

Words of encouragement go a long way. I know that sometimes schedules get hectic and things happen, however, make sure to keep interns as a priority because when I did get meetings with my manager, the words of affirmation on my work were very encouraging and meant a lot.

I have been working at PepsiCo as an intern

    Pros

Hard work, room for growth, opportunities handed to you, great pay.

    Cons

    High expectations, long work hours.

    Advice to Management

Keep the pride you bring to work up, it is a great thing to see when entering a new company. Try to have a better understanding of the relocation process and the costs it may take on someone.

I have been working at PepsiCo as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

Learning about the business was amazing, some of the most welcoming people I have ever worked with.
Highly recommend working at PepsiCo to see supply chain management at its best!
Products that you are passionate about, theres nothing better!

    Cons

    Not much oversight for interns
Day to day problems in the business took priority
Large corporate disconnect with what actually goes on in the trade
    Too much waste and inefficiency

    Advice to Management

Communicate more with people on their routes, the problem is the diverse geographical areas that can have the same number of customers but can also be completely different in terms of sales figures and returns/ waste.
