I have been working at PepsiCo (Less than a year)

    Pros

At the beginning of the internship Pepsi does a nice job of making sure your onboarding process is smooth and you are introduced to the company before going out into the market to work with customers. Throughout my internship I was given the opportunity to work with customers and get real-world experience that is not offered in any classroom setting. My managers and every other employee at the plant were very welcoming and always around to answer any questions that I had. I would highly recommend this internship for anyone looking to work for a competitive and innovative company!

    Cons

There was not any cons to this internship, the overall experience was excellent.

    Advice to Management

My managers were great and very welcoming. They should keep doing exactly what they are already doing.

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

At PepsiCo, expectations are high. You get rewarded for hard work. Once you get to high levels, compensation and retirement packages are top tier for manufacturing. I think this is a good way to motivate employees to get there.

    Cons

It's the soda business, so we are always trying to do more with less. Not a fault of the company, that is just the nature of the industry.

    Advice to Management

Focus on long term - a bit too much micromanagement. Make sure employees deliver on long term objectives that you make clear, then you won't have to micromanage!

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Benefits, excellent pay, pension, 401k, many insurance options. Work is busy, fast paced, but not overly difficult. It's a union plant with over 99% participants.

    Cons

Loud, dusty environment when clean ups are taking place. Management is always looking to cut a job. The list of cons are tiny, this is a good place to work.

    Advice to Management

Let's get more people for clean up.
