I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The job is fast paced with a lot going on. The management is great and understands what the job entails. The products are great and there are constantly new products coming out. Company car, iPad, laptop etc.

    Cons

Too many customers for one person to handle and stay in front of. Really difficult to tell if your daily grind is impacting your overall business. One large account can crumble everything for the entire year... or it can make everything better.

    Advice to Management

More staff to handle large load of customers.

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great pay for the work we do
Meet some great people along the way
    Schedule can be flexible
    Suitable benefits

    Cons

Most management has no leadership skills they will call you on the phone with attitudes and hollering on the phone which is very unprofessional. You can be lacking in a certain area and instead of it being addressed so you can improve nothing will get said except behind your back unless it directly affects the present moment also unprofessional.”
Not very diversity friendly most companies have something for everyone as far as moving up not here. You have to be one type of individual if not their will never be any opportunity for you to develop and advance especially if your a minority. Only minority DSLs come from corporate none come from the area we’re in which is a shame.

    Advice to Management

Get more hands on in the zone see what’s going on address diversity issues it will help morale and grow your business.

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Health benefits, 401(k), work on your own without direct supervision , steady work

    Cons

Performance Pay !!!, lack of direct management and the few that stay are worthless, No seniority..... the longer you work here the less you make , Zero appreciation for frontline employees, performance pay has created an “hostile “ work environment, turnover of employees is out of control with this new pay

    Advice to Management

Your house is only as strong as it’s foundation , this applies to your business as well!!! Treat your people (Rsr) with some respect .. Scrap performance pay before your business caves ... YOU ARE NOT TO BIG TO FAIL and it’s crumbling fast

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Pay everyone the same for the same job, I am tired of killing myself to make 2/3 the pay

    Pros

I worked at PepsiCo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Weekly Pay, Great co-worker personalities, they seem to have extra money laying around to pay management to get on here and write positive reviews to try and fool you, yet they keep pushing for pay cuts every contract.

    Cons

Too many to list. ill just add a few. Anything less than 50 hours a week is frowned upon by management. the union is obviously corrupt and the union contracts just keep getting worse and worse. every new contract= less pay for the workers. That should let you know how such a big and growing company really feels about its precious workers. not enough days off and no time to rest or take a break during the work day. up from about 1 or 2 am and working till around 3 or 4pm usually, then get home maybe about 5 then better get to bed right away because u gotta be up for 1 or 2am. there will be no remorse for you or your family. its all sales. and when they get desperate they will force you or someone else to overstock the markets, this will kill the sales targets for weeks to come, the manager will make their bonus while your next few paychecks take a huge dive and your store managers will be upset at you. theres much much more. please dont work here. everything changed for worse within the last 6 years.

    Advice to Management

Realize that your life isn't more important than any other worker. stop giving bad advise for your sales and be human. Work life balance is important for everyone, not just you.
