I have been working at PerkinElmer full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Some great products, some are the best on the market. Generally great colleagues.

    Cons

Testosterone heavy management. Ever decreasing bonus pay when you exceed target. (And targets increase by a third year on year so even reaching target is virtually impossible now.) Male colleagues have larger bonuses. Not much potential for promotion for females. As much as I've tried not to believe it, I'm starting to think that PKI is a sexist company.
Re-organisations that make no business sense and then ridiculous, and compulsory, 'team-building' activities with people you don't work with, you just happen to live in the same country as. Those aren't the people I need to team-build with. Save the money and give us our bonus payment structure back and a proper pay rise.
I work with great products and that's the main reason I'm still here at the moment.

    Advice to Management

I'm all out of suggestions when management refuse to admit there are any issues with the way they treat women.

I have been working at PerkinElmer full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Paid Time Off but with a catch, Maternity Leave, Free Eye Tests, Free Hot Drinks, Health Insurance you pay tax on only.

    Cons

1 day a year to give back to the community doesn't feel rewarding enough. No Flexible Working in the UK. Climbing the career ladder rarely happens.

    Advice to Management

    Start investing in your employees
