    Pros

    Employees are nice and usually in a great mood

    Cons

    Corporate doesn't staff adequately, they cut hours and then get complains and wonder why...

    Advice to Management

    Quit cutting staff so that customers leave happy

    Enjoyed the people I worked with. Was treated with respect. Flexible hours around my internship schedule.

    Cons

    Needed to have more people working to lighten load of current employees. During rush hour, tension was high.

    Advice to Management

    Hire more servers and have more people working during high flow times to lighten work load and stress on employees.

    Good pay, flexible hours, depending on management can be an excellent place to work

    Cons

    always switching managers, high school drama between younger co- workers, often not appreciated by management

    Advice to Management

    Give your employees more credit, and give your servers a raise after at least a year. I worked there 3 years, great employee, punctual, worked hard and never in those three years ever got offered a raise. STOP SWITCHING MANAGEMENT ALL THE TIME, it confuses other employees and causes an unnecessary chaos and confusion.

    Pros

    The staff become family, hanging out, going for beers afterward. Depending on store the managers try their best to take care of you

    Cons

    Every store has a different manager style, there for a while had a manager that didn't weed out the poor employees. Employees can become too clickly, aka not one of use so we are going to give you troubles .

    The best thing is all the people I have met and how much I have come to love my job.

    Cons

    I have reached the cap off and can not grow farther than where I am in Perkins.

    Communication is very important in any place of work

    I worked at Perkins Restaurant and Bakery full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    This Perkins is open 24/7. They were very accommodating with scheduling around sitters and my spouse's schedule when necessary. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

    Cons

    The bar shifts (roughly 10p-6a)were either crazy or dead and scheduling was impossible. College kids would go out when there were no events to speak of thus leaving us understaffed.

    Advice to Management

    The management staff is at the top of their game because of the nature of that restaurant. The trends aren't always the same and everyone steps it up and did their best! Keep up the good work!

    If you worked hard, you earned big.

    There was a lot of favoritism, and that sometimes made it hard to advance and hindered you from making the most money possible.

    Advice to Management

    Try not to make who your favorites are so obvious.
