    Pros

Good money, great friendships, flexible scheduling

The one I worked at is 24 hours, so my schedule was often erratic. Sometimes there at 8 AM, sometimes there until 3 AM.

    Advice to Management

Better communication about menu changes, protocol changes, etc.

I worked at Perkins Restaurant and Bakery part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great pay (a little above minimum wage to start), easy-going environment, good hours, and the store I was located at, was a brand new store grand opening so the training was very in depth.

    Cons

Perkins tends to attract the older crowd and they seem to be rude a lot more than at other restaurants, busy-work when there are no customers coming in, and very strict on calling customers "GUESTS".

I have been working at Perkins Restaurant and Bakery part-time

    Pros

They offer a very flexible, easy going environment and tend to have very loyal patrons. Over all I have known many employees who have worked there for 10-20 years.

    Cons

Restaurant hours which tend to be irregular. Most staff are usually required to work weekends and holidays. The pay can be a little low but Tips tend to be very good.

    Advice to Management

Increase base pay and hire additional part-time employees to allow full-timers at least one weekend day off. Usually this can be accommodated but not always. Hire additional staff for the holidays and only require employees to work one holiday not all.
