I worked at Perkins Restaurant and Bakery full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Easy serving position. No complicated menu items to learn.

    Cons

-Allowing other servers to sit on their butts and not take care of tables during busy shifts and then trying to reprehend the servers who complain about it. Who wants to work like that?
-Having to do my managers job because it ran more efficient that way.

    Advice to Management

    - Set up and be managers, your employees shouldn't have to do your jobs for you.

    Pros

They give you hours that you want
    You can request days off
Some coworkers are very nice and don’t complain much.

    Cons

    Stuck in one position.
Coworkers show up late or not at all, some are very rude.
Management has an annoying attitude, very frustrating to work with. Like an everything is wrong all the time type. Yells a lot at employees. Just an overall nasty attitude. You can’t ask a question and get a pleasant response it’s always extremely negative.
The majority of the client base is elderly, very impatient and yell a lot. If you don’t like the elderly this probably won’t work out.
A lot of the coworkers are on drugs of some type.
Not much money unless you’re a server.
