I have been working at Perrigo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good benefits, nice fitness center, hassle-free parking, generally good people

    Cons

It is become quite obvious in my long tenure at Perrigo that unless you have been selected in advance by the powers that be, you will never be given true opportunities to move up and are not adequately compensated for the consistent hard work and dedication that you give. There is too much inconsistency between roles/tasks, job titles, and pay structure. Additionally, the last few years have been very difficult with the uncertainties of being acquired, reorganization, and now upcoming layoffs.

    Advice to Management

Start paying attention to the people that have been there for many years. The knowledge that they have is invaluable and should not be continually overlooked, and they too should be given a chance to be one of your rising stars.

I have been working at Perrigo full-time

    Pros

    Great area. Small company feel.

    Cons

Entered continuing cycle of layoffs. No job security at all.

    Advice to Management

Turn the ship around quickly. Do something to keep top performers. Cancelled bonus and scant merit increases are scaring people away.

    Pros

Good people to work with. Good benefits. Would recommend to people. Tuition reimbursement program is wonderful and they have a wellness prgram too.

    Cons

No reward for long tenure. As with most companies these days it is better to move on to benefit your checkbook.

    Advice to Management

Recognize the great work your employees do and reward that behavior.

    Pros

Workers feel the VPs don't do much but attend meetings and managers under them are more needed and effective leaders if their departments
