    I worked at Perrigo full-time

    Pros

Great culture that helped the company grow. Long time values from the top were passed down to middle management and to employees.

    Cons

New leadership has lost some of the values that make Perrigo unique. The company has shifted to mostly acquistions and international, and that has taken attention away from customers.

    Advice to Management

Focus on customers and employees. That is what makes any company great regardless of the strategy to grow in Ireland, Europe and the rest of the world.

In a tough spot in the market and has a way to climb on stock price.

    Advice to Management

The people make the company successful. Keep your eye on the people and invest more in them.

    Pros

Very work life balance oriented. The company seeks solutions for problem resolution and does not make it personal on the employee. The company does not have unrealistic objectives.

    Cons

Not entirely the companies fault but is going through very significant market dynamics. There are many changes taking place. One must be adaptable with change. Some jobs moving to Dublin, Ireland. Creates a bit of tension.

I worked at Perrigo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Stable company. No one gets fired. Enjoy the perks. Low work load which translates to high work life balance.

    Cons

It gets boring for an agressive professional quickly, with the high level of bureaucracy of half of the departments by jewish people and the remainder by puertorican people in management positions. If you are a sitting duck and a nodding cow, you can survive. Other-wise, you need to wait to be favored by one of those two groups.

    Advice to Management

Bring in folks from Perrigo Michigan and attempt to dissolve the bureaucracy caused by the locals if you want to bring in change. There is extensive office politics within. Unless there is some big change, nothing happens. Steve Steffes tried to do something but we need more like him.
