I worked at Persistent Systems (India) full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good company for people who are too technical or those who just want a steady job without any career aspirations.

    Cons

The CEO and top management are good but the middle management sucks. You cannot succeed here if you aren't "oh so technical". HR policies are highly inconsistent. The HR team has no proper HR personnel. You have lawyers and and commerce grads doing HR roles and having roles higher than PhDs. Contrary to what is expected from HR, they are all insensitive and absolute gossip-mongers. Compensation and benefit policies...

    Advice to Management

Please get rid of a lot of your good for nothing mid management folks. Also bring in some kind of consistency in your policies
