I worked at Personify full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The rank-and-file are good people who try hard. Free ice cream during weekly standups.

    Cons

The biggest downside to my tenure at Personify was my boss, M. I found him hard to work with, he refused to recognize my needs, and he lacked the social skills to be able to handle different types of people. Turned out that his name constantly appears in exit interviews as to why people leave Personify.

    Pros

Working from home and smart coworkers (non management). Also, a terrible experience here has made me value what to look for in a career.

    Cons

CEO lies, executives lie, middle management gets caught lying all the time.
NO exciting new work, NO room for growth here (Biggest flaw)
All promises broken in the last 2+ years.
Unlimited PTO means they will deny every one of them.
    New hires are ridiculously underpaid.
No raises year after year with many excuses
Benefits are really high, unbelievably high.
Vienna office has died, no culture, no employees. Maybe 10 people come in from time to time.
    Promotions are RARELY given.

    Advice to Management

There is no such thing as "Management" here

I have been working at Personify full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Smart driven fun people to work around. Rewarding vertical to service. Open door policy with upper level management who continue to improve the company. Invigorating to be a part of a forward thinking company. The recent Small World Labs acquisition has provided an influx of new talent to add to the already deeply experienced staff.

    Cons

Not too many cons to talk about...the Vienna office space could use a bit of a refresh, but it is in a good location.

    Advice to Management

Patience...the focus on software quality and refreshing/streamlining the services approach is the right direction. Customers are noticing and the rest of the industry will be right behind.

I worked at Personify full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Those employees who are left are friendly and willing to help/answer questions. Tysons Corner is a central location, inside the beltway and metro-accessible.

    Cons

Morale couldn’t be lower. There may be 5 employees who show up to the office on a regular basis. Executive leadership operates under a veil of secrecy, and expects employees to compensate for oversights (when a simple communication plan would have taken care of the issue in the first place). And they do not understand the association market – and as a result they are hard-pressed to find a customer that will serve as a reference.

    Advice to Management

Your M.O. is to buy a company, make it profitable, then leave in a year. But in this case, you have completely destroyed the culture, underestimated the market, and alienated the customer base for what was a good company to work for/with. My only advice is to please leave.

I worked at Personify (Less than a year)

    Pros

Received great annual review and accolades.

    Cons

Due to company fiscal budget restrictions, received a very small salary increase which was a slap in the face not even substantial to a position promotion.

I have been working at Personify full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Personify provides very flexible work schedules.
Current employees are very friendly and adamant at helping new employees become adequate with their new position.

    Cons

Lack of communication between client department transitions.
When started, complete lack of any training on application.
Overall increase of completed billable hours.
Provides lackluster treatment to employees., especially with the release of employees.

    Advice to Management

The treatment of your employees needs to improve tremendously. Tentative of the changes, but am optimistic that this will greatly help the overall status of the company.

    Pros

Competitive salaries, if you can talk much you can survive ...this policy really works here. Upper management people are influenced by mid -management people...so you know what is happening here:) Technical folks are very good helping each other. CEO ,Edi is a nice human being but he is not aware with ground reality.

    Cons

Mid level management people are waste. they do nothing except accepting butter :) furnishing oil. They create chaos and making working culture worst. What will happen if you don't have anything to do but just butter .Knowledgeable People are fired due to politics.

    Advice to Management

Make mid level management billable. Tech services is a dummy entity. All the techs works with PM and that's how billabilty is maintained. Base team is their to support tech issues for PS techs. Do you really need guys to just forward emails!
