I worked at Pertemps (More than a year)

    Pros

Great head office team - Especially marketing and IT - Rewards driven and exciting place to work and a really nice culture. Pay rises are frequent and they are keen to promote from within. Senior management are genuine good guys - (bar CEO)

    Cons

Only weird one was CEO sent emails around entire office telling staff to vote for Brexit. Felt really unpleasant and pressured. Content included cartoons that made fun of labour and daily quotes from 'The Daily Mail' - A lot off staff are Labour/LibDem please don't pressure them to change their political stance

    Advice to Management

Please keep all staff emails for company purposes

I have been working at Pertemps full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Cactus Search is a Specialist recruitment business, focussing on Call Centres across the UK and Internationally, we operate independently but we are part of the Pertemps Network Group
Cactus Search offers an industry leading bonus scheme, very few recruitment agencies offer anything close!
Family atmosphere and families are central to the ethos of the business
Work / Life balance is imperative, working hours are 9-5.30 Monday to Friday, no one works over this!

    Cons

Cactus Search is based in Worcester so not always easy to reach and not many experienced recruiters based in the area
    limited parking
Small, boutique business may not suit everyone
No micro-managing, to succeed you have to be totally self-motivated, your desk is your business!

    Advice to Management

Follow through with initiatives, sometimes initiatives can fall away if they are not consistently managed. Keep regular reviews.

I have been working at Pertemps full-time

    Pros

Good work if you can get it regular

    Cons

as above they cannot hold on to drivers because they are messed about so much no regular work laid off without any notice tend to employ an awful lot of foreigners because they don't complain when they don't get any work

    Advice to Management

Please get your fingers out and reinstate the people who new what they were doing before it all goes pear shaped especially when men are working hours they should not, like the other week.
