      Pros

      - Get to see pets everyday - Learn about pet nutrition and other pet supplies - Work with employees that are also passionate about pets and usually somewhat laid back while still maintaining a professional manner - Comfortable/lax work uniform

      Cons

      - Will always run into difficult customers, but that's customer service/retail - Somewhat strict rules with timeliness (warnings, etc.) - Lower pay for managerial positions

      Pros

Discount is 25%; learned lots about pet nutrition.

      Cons

Work/life balance with such a small staff (7 people). If someone calls off, the store manager (me) must come in. During the pandemic we were considered an essential business. Our hourly team (sales associates and managers) got a $1 raise during the pandemic for hazard pay. Store managers got a $200 bonus, which resulted to be $132 after taxes. Meaning my hourly staff got more than I did, by the end of this long 3-month stay at home order. This really goes to show how they take care of their Store Managers...who put in all of the hours, blood, sweat and tears. Little to no appreciation for what we do, working on the frontlines. I'm very disappointed in the way they handled things.

      Pros

Found my passion for pet nutrition. Got experience for my resume.

      Cons

Store managers do the bare minimum even in high volume stores. Working most nights and weekends and every Sunday because managers didn’t want to. Everybody at the company loves drama. Not a good discount. Not worth your time and effort.

      Pros

Great co-workers, get to learn a lot about pet nutrition, open minded company, great owners

      Cons

Growing too fast becoming very impersonal and corporate, way too low pay for what they ask of their employees, puts too much on their managers, very minimal perks for employees like a much smaller discount than other pet food stores, there's great perks for customers but employees do not get to participate in them, home office sometimes sends out stuff for employees that's so minimal it's almost insulting.
