    Pros

Good work life balance. Exposure to very high-end furnishings and fabrics that you most likely won't get anywhere else. Competitive pay if you ask for raises and show your value. It's a good place to learn.

    Cons

Very little vertical movement, that's why I left. Wanted more responsibility.

    Pros

Great projects! An opportunity to work with world class art collections and exceptional vendors.

    Cons

Poor management with lack of good communication skills. Outdated technology. Terrible office culture; everyone works in fear of Peter. The firm is plagued with a long history of covered-up harassment & firings.

    Pros

Opportunity to work on amazing projects at the highest level. Opportunity to truly push yourself to meet these expectations, and if you're lucky, exceed them. A diverse and intelligent office in terms of culture, language and age. Office has a great number of experienced staff who elect to stay for 15-20 years, reflecting companies ability to invest in employees.

    Cons

Hours are regimented, not necessarily reflecting your project schedule.

    Pros

Great name to have on your resume. Will learn a lot as most of the employees are the best of the best, and super knowledgeable about their specialty.

    Cons

Management is particular about who moves up in the company. Stressful environment when owner is around. All employees aren't recognized or spoken too nicely by owner. You might get yelled at.

    Pros

Peter Marino is truly a great designer. Salaries may be slightly better than other companies.

    Cons

Middle management spends the day partying while they give you all the stuff to you. Then they blame you for any mistake, and take credit for the good things you've done. There's fear in employees. Which makes the vibe kind of cold.

    Pros

I got to work on some really cool projects. I made some really good connections with the vendors. Most of the people on the bottom of the chain are great to work with.

    Cons

The pay is awful, work life balance is awful. Management treats you like you are less than. You see Peter in the office but you are invisible to him unless you are management. Most people there are unhappy and its visible.
