    Pros

You get to take the company truck home, the people outside the office in the field are great to work with.

    Cons

The office personal only think about the numbers not the employees,if you get a one day job to do they don't care if you are still working on it till late it must be done that day and you are expected to be in on time the next day,if you don't have a personal life or a family life this is a job for you.

    Advice to Management

Stop being so hard on the people who are out there doing the job at the customers house,if it wasn't for them you might not be working there.

    Cons

Management and hard to take time off

Better health care and teach managers how to speak to employees beneath their position better. Not all services can be done by a formula. Remember a customer is a customer not a client.

    Pros

    Great pay
    Wonderful Overtime possibilities
    Great fellow employees

    Cons

    Horrible management
    Horrible hours
Promotions based on if management likes you

    Advice to Management

Stop promoting based on if you like the person. Someone who is there less tgen 6 months in the customer service department should not be made into a supervisor.

I worked at Petro Home Services full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

They hired me straight out of computer technical school, paid decently for that level of employment, and I moved up through the departments. Two promotions in 6 years.

    Cons

Your employment could depend on the weather, spring after a warm winter is a tense time. My department was cut in half and the people left were expected to pick up the slack.

I worked at Petro Home Services full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Decent money and benefits
    Nice office
    Convenient location
You get to know some of your customers

    Cons

This office is very stressful to work in. There is a lot of turnover because of this and for some reason upper management looks the other way.If the economy wasnt the way it is I would have gotten up and walked out.I was near tears in the office more than once, was in tears in the car on the way home one day.It is up to you if you want to deal with this. I only stayed as long as I did because of the money and benefits, and that it was a reasonable commute.

    Advice to Management

Please treat employees with more respect. It will help in the long run. It is very expensive for companies to have to keep hiring and training new employees

I have been working at Petro Home Services full-time

    Pros

Good Pay, very flexible with hours.

    Cons

They will cut hours the moment they have a warm winter. You have to be a favorite of managment to get anything done for you. I was there for 5 months and no even knew my name. Once i found the "princess" of the company and she liked me everyone knew who i was.

    Advice to Management

Please treat people like people. Be human and understand that these people give you 12 or more hours of there lives everyday for you. You should be very happy and understand that it's the little things that make a company worth working for.

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Petro Home Services full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Some of the lead management team are really great. Many have been there a long time, and really care about the people and the customers.

    Cons

Much of the leadership team is stuck in "this is the way we've always done it" and there is not a lot of room for innovation.

    Advice to Management

Be more transparent. Walk the walk, and please stop the lip service.
