    Pros

    Good salary, respectable job, lot to learn

    Cons

    Too much work, no routine, seniors will break all regulations and blame you. Chinese officers have all the power regardless if they are qualified or not

    Advice to Management

    Top management should be given to qualified people not just Chinese, Salaries are great, rotation is just 28 days. The food and living standards are high

    Pros

    good environment, nice people and almost every one works here is hard working, the working building is beautiful and the security work is pretty good.

    Cons

    the traffic is bad in Beijing, the traffic jam is so heavy that every day people spend a lot of time on the way to work.

    Pros

    Plenty of work life balance, people are generally helpful. The work can be challenging at times but there is freedom to plan out the work as deadlines are generally on a monthly basis.

    Cons

    A generally top down approach management style. Employee clock in and out timings are monitored daily. Large portion of pay package is locked in the form of bonus.

    Advice to Management

    To be more receptive to employee suggestions. Rewards are given out for employees with excellent suggestions to improve company efficiency/culture/etc. time to take it a step further and implement them.

    Pros

    Challenging, Loyalty is a must, learning in the implementation process.

    Cons

    No training courses for the employees
    lack of communications.

    I worked at PetroChina as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good Contract with one month off / one moth duty. Colleagues and Managers are very supportive and accommodating.

    Cons

    The only downsides working in Petrochina is just the work place which is in Iraq. However, still the management assures the safeness of the employees.

    Pros

    Competitve salary, good work condtion, big organization which provides different career development oppotunity

    Cons

    Bureacracy, corruption which keeps evaporating since 2 years ago, oversea investments are hauling down

    As an role model of chinese company going abroad, I think this company will do better in the near future.
