    Good work environment, many development opportunities and possibility to work in many different cities in Brazil and, sometimes worldwide

    Cons

    Very bureaucratic and slow decision-making processes. Lack of trust on senior managers after scandal.

    Pros

    There are a lot of huge and challenging projects, making Petrobras an excellent field for learning and develop new ideas.

    Cons

    Most leaders are affraid to change the way things are done, so it's hard to find cooperation when you see an opportunity to improve a process even if it would be done to reduce costs.

    Advice to Management

    Petrobras projects are too expensive. The Engineering projects leaders should have open minds and act as, for example, the researches for Pre-Salt Layer drilling leaders area, cause they are focused in innovation, not on finishing projects.

    Good pay, complete package of fringe benefits, major worldwide organization,

    Cons

    Company cannot fire employees, makes it full of employees who don't carry their own weight. Managers become complacent and occupy same positions without drive for 20-30 years. Every decision must run through higher management. Lack of accountability.

    Advice to Management

    Bigger organizations are difficult to run, especially when controlled by government, but there must be effort to make people accountable to their decisions and commitments.
