    Some of the nicest people to work with
    Easy work - a lot of people are paid to do nothing
    Can't get fired even if you suffer from an undiagnosed mental disorder

    Inefficient work practices and promotes laziness
    Departments are set up just to avoid making redundancies

    The poor management led the company to the situation where it is today, with many problems of corruption. The leadership in many cases is terrible there.

    Petrobras have many pros, like:
    Newest tecnologics.
    A great work enviroment.
    Qualified profissionals.
    And salarys in the average.

    Cons

    For own professionals, no have chance to growing in carrer, because no have a incentive program for up the career.
    If you enter like a telecommunication technician and have a engineer diploma, you go die a telecommunication technician. No chance to change career. Only make a new public contest.
    For contract professional, you have a chance to change, if manages like you.

    Advice to Management

    In general the manages are good, but various are incompetent, no have a minimal needed experience.

    Huge company with lots of professional opportunities in many different areas of expertise. Nice company to make a life career.

    Cons

    As the company is controlled by the local govenment, such that the company´s strategy if too much influenciated by local pollitic interests, not necessarily the best to the company itself.

    Try to implement a kind of mechanism in order to shield the company from the external politic interest.
