I have been working at Pfizer full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Reliable, job security. Big pharma means funding for clinical trials

    Cons

Big company which now feels clumsy and too much voice at Rinat.

    Advice to Management

Value current employees instead.of talking about attracting new people.

I have been working at Pfizer full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The benefits that are provided are good. The working environment here is really nice. People are friendly and this place in particular has the small company vibe to it.

    Cons

It can be difficult to get what you want done if it is not the top priority. You have to stick to what is needed now.

    Advice to Management

Keep up what we have right now. Things are looking good from here. Make sure to listen to the employees and take their feedback to heart.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Hours were strictly 9-5, Monday-Friday. I was given ownership of my own project for the summer but worked closely with a research scientist mentor with 5+ years of experience. Great networking opportunity and name recognition is great for padding resume. Colleagues were extremely friendly and approachable, even upper management.

    Cons

Pay was low ($15/hr in San Francisco, with no option for overtime)

    Advice to Management

A little advertising of the intern program would dramatically increase your applicant pool.

    Approves of CEO

I worked at Pfizer full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Generally good resources available; Pockets of the company are eager to move forward with urgency to discover and develop pharmaceuticals

    Cons

Consensus decision making culture which slows things down; watch your back; Risk tolerance can be unreasonably low; Quality of science is spotty

    Advice to Management

CEO and board are on the right track.
