I have been working at Phacil, Inc. full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    1. Management does care about it's people. In my experience, I've been amazed with the way they will go out of their way to keep employees.
    2. The benefits are pretty good.
    3. You work a 40 hour week with comp time encouraged, if you find you have to work overtime.

    Cons

All the cons listed apply to any Federal Contractors and are not specific to Phacil:
    1. You are a government contractor with multiple IT silos within a group.
    2. You are theoretically bound by the contract signed with the government, so sometimes you find yourself thinking "this should be improved" and doing it as a "side job".
    3. Because Phacil is a Federal Contractor, they can be one of several companies within an agency and you find yourself "competing" against the other companies, when you should all be on the same side.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing.

I worked at Phacil, Inc. full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The service desk is a starting position and great for someone trying to get into the IT field.

    Cons

If you are looking to build your IT skills, then look somewhere else. This is a call center. Be prepared to only answer phone calls.
No shift differential for second and third shift employees. The Phacil upper management has sternly said no to shift differential pay.
Turnover is high for management here.
Communication is non-existent here between the different departments.
Management is not flexible when it comes to changing shifts.
Management will berate you. Customers will yell profanity at you. If you do not have thick skin, then find another place to work.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees like people, not numbers.

I have been working at Phacil, Inc. full-time

    Pros

There is not many pros. The benefits are expensive, the pay is below market value, and the company continues to take away the few perks that were left.

    Cons

Just heard from another employee the contract we work for in Chandler is up. Management has not provided any information or reassurance, as usual. Everything is a big secret and we are left to try to figure things out for ourselves. Hope no one was counting on a job here.

    Advice to Management

Everything is treated, "need to know" well your Employees need to know. You promised transparency, where is it?

    Advice to Management

Follow up on policy of work ethic, professionalism, and common curtsey within a open concept environment.

    Cons

They could not wait 2 weeks. Can anyone tell me how the company is like?
