I worked at PharMEDium Healthcare full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Days go fast with the constant work load.

    Cons

Harassment from fellow coworkers became toxic. Significant amounts of work time lost to respond to regular accusations. Communications included insults and profanity, and though managers would try to make things right, behavior returned within days. Very high volume work-load.

    Advice to Management

New employees are not encouraged to stay in an environment where senior members look down on their co-workers.

    Pros

Every thing in lab is problem. No respect for employees. Worst place to work for. HR is there for upper management only.

    Cons

Change upper management attitude and HR
Respect your employees and listen to them when they have problem and solution for something

    Pros

Can't think of one. Maybe just that it's a paycheck.

    Cons

Very inefficient. Lacks support for staff. Feel like you can't trust anyone.

    Advice to Management

Get a handle on what you have before you aggressively push growth.

I worked at PharMEDium Healthcare (Less than a year)

    Pros

Most of the people who stick around are incredibly hard working, and a joy to work with

    Cons

A culture of always being rushed, always being behind and playing catch up, expected to work overtime every day, mandatory Saturdays, not being entitled to your own earned PTO, unrealistic goals from management, and management not learning from the past

    Advice to Management

Please treat employees better if you want their best work, and them to stay long term

medical, dental and vision with vacation after probationary period

Managers are the worst I have ever worked at. Lot of employees leaving the company because of the work load and management
Unfair workload balance, Incompetent employees promoted to higher because of favoritism.
Lack of training in management, Poor attendance policy

    Advice to Management

Provide better training to management and supervisors
Make everyone feel welcome or treat everyone the same and stop your favoritism

I worked at PharMEDium Healthcare full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Initially, atmosphere was great, with good management team and training. Changed once company was bought out by AmerisourceBergen.

    Cons

Good managers left after takeover; new managers have no clue about procedures, workflow or how to manage a team. Atmosphere became negative and no longer a good place to work.

    Advice to Management

Hire management team that KNOWS how to manage, and not destroy teams/staff.

I worked at PharMEDium Healthcare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The pay was really good, good benefits and they fed us often. Flexible lunch times...

    Cons

The repetitious hand movements caused pain, sometimes permanent, in fingers wrists and elbows. Standard operating procedures changed DAILY, quality associates constantly looking over your shoulder as you work, unprofessional pharmacy technicians and lead pharmacists, clean room VERY hot almost suffocating. Upper management made new rules daily that made it almost impossible to get your work done on time and the work volume is RIDICULOUS, lead pharmacists love to pick favorites, lead technicians like to give small or easy baches to their good friends...I could go on and on but I have to admit, the paycheck was good.

    Advice to Management

Get more professional and treat everyone fairly. Stop having unrealistic goals for technicians and morale would be much better.

    Pros

    Decent benefits and generous PTO

    Cons

TOXIC, horrible work environment! No communication ultimately putting their employees in a position to fail!! The absolute worst place I have ever work! A lot of good people that work there that are treated like crap!!

As long as the current center management reshceme is there, it will continue to be BAD!!

I highly recommend that you do not work at this facility with the current center management group!!

    Advice to Management

Learn how to train, communicate, and treat your employees. Stop micro managing and let your employees do the job in which they get paid to do!
