I have been working at PharMerica full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There really is no pros other than meeting new ppl oh and when there isn't any calls to take you can browser your computer.. With limits of course

    Cons

The upper management sucks. They let ppl call out from work all the time without valid excuses or sometimes without an excuse. The you have to work every single weekend and holiday so if you have a family this job isn't for you. The equipment is old and outdated and the space where we all work is small and cramped. The internet sucks. You can't access anything outside of work stuff(which sucks when there's nothing to do that is work related) I currently work there and have been looking for a new job just days after training period ended.

    Advice to Management

Grow a back bone when it comes ppl who constantly call out. Take the time to make a rotating weekend schedule. Because it is possible, instead of just saying it's not possible. If you had that you wouldn't have such a high turnaround of ppl

    I worked at PharMerica full-time

    Pros

Being able to always meet new technicians entering the field because of the never ending rotation of students from different schools who are trying to complete their externship.

    Cons

If you are offered a position (if you're not already burnt out from all the mundane grunt work they make you perform) you usually get stuck with the worst shifts and the pay isn't good at all for all the time you just spent in school.

    Advice to Management

Get more organized with your schedules and inventory and stop relying on the students for your work flow.
