    Wonderful Environment

    Pros

The environment among employees, managers and the bosses is really lovely. Both owners are very accessible and open to appropriate feedback (feedback that doesn't overstep boundaries). The company potlucks were quite nice and a great opportunity for bonding.

    Cons

There was some drama and gossip when I was there, but it was very easy to stay out of. If you want to engage drama, it's there; if you want to stay out of it, no one really insists on pulling you in to it.

Being the buyer, grower, maintenance help and the salesperson of a medium sized perennial grow operation has been exhilarating. I love to look in the catalogs in the spring, buy the roots, pots, soil, fertilizer and grow them to bloom in the grow season!

    Cons

While performing all aspects of a retail grow operation is exhilarating it is also quite stressful during times of high volume sales. I happen to be an expert in plant material and love to do garden design. Unfortunately the demands of sales don't always allow for individual customer time.
