I worked at Philip Morris International full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Global company and overall exposure

    Cons

Cigs on decline and new heat not burn technology is not delivering the results expected (other than Japan...)
Also, they are working on digital, agile and lean start up but extremely poorly as mid and senior management are not convinced at all of this change of mindset

I worked at Philip Morris International full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

High quality standards, products and people.

    Cons

Too much bureaucracy coupled with excessive controls. Controls are OK and necessary, especially for such a big company, but the excess is negative.

    Advice to Management

Trust more on people in charge of markets while providing support instead of auditing.

I have been working at Philip Morris International full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Still producing a sound level of cash ( although diminishing year on year). The new culture looks great and may create greater and more focused used of resources. Lots of smart people, with the caveat of politics getting in the way too many times.

    Cons

The salary and benefits are good but under pressure since the category is suffering from limited capability to leverage pricing, declining volumes and cheaper cigs worsen the algorithm for eps and the new heat not burn future is a tough one as it sucks huge resources and demostrated success outside Japan is still a big if given regulatory hurdles and slower than expected consumer offtake.
