I have been working at Philips full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Generally great technology to sell and represent. Best in Class MRI, Angio, and Cath Labs

    Cons

Big cuts in Commission Plans to fund more Mid Level Account Executives. No real plan except adding Sales managers while Service dominates resources and manages from bottom only. Poor Customer experience do to Service Coverage

    Advice to Management

Don't let Service Ops run Customer. Profit is obtain at risk of growing new System Sales.

    I worked at Philips full-time

    Pros

I worked as a contract administrator in both Andover MA & Bothell WA location. Most people were friendly and easy to work with and it wasn't terrible micromanaged from the 5+ year I worked for them. Both campus had a cafeteria, gym (Bothell was small) and seems like insignificant but was a huge add-on and wish my current employer had both in place. This is a medical IT company that's growing rapidly so I would say if you're targeting that area specifically in the technical field as well as you're an amazing sales person then this would be the right fit. There are many opportunities in that regards.

    Cons

The pay isn't terrible but not terrific. Philips has always been very cheap about giving employee discount including Sonicare products that ended up being cheaper buying online which is honestly sad to say.

    I worked at Philips full-time

    Pros

Good people in the mid-level, working hard
Flexible WFH (at the time, I've heard that's changed some with more "in the office" time required now)
Good benefits - 401k contribution is the best I've seen

    Cons

Leadership did not address behavior issues with people that act opposite our values and unethically

    Advice to Management

Get rid of people that don't live your values. They are poison to your organization and while you keep them, you will lose those that are looking for a better work environment.

Great co-workers, great product and all support installers are grown within company so very knowledable

    Cons

Regional Leadership create hostile work place, lack Integrity of the stated values of organization in Germany/Holland - 150% revenue driven - bonus driven at the peril of patient safety and work life balance

    Advice to Management

Ensure all levels of leadership held accountable to Company values ahead of revenue targets - when a leader receives HR complaints - take them seriously.
