The benefits offered by Philips, such as time off and insurance, were generous. For the most part, if the organization did relatively during the year, bonuses were paid.
The organization seemed to be moving more functions to third-parties. The stability Philips maybe once had seems to evaporated of the last decade.
Advice to Management
They are losing knowledge of longtime employees due to outsourcing. The organization seems to be weakening as it tries to reduced it's operational/corporate footprint in the US.
Good company- but as they move to be independent short team view
with the transition to LED i doubt the company will move fast enough to stay relevant
